what is potentiometer ?

WHAT IS POTENTIOMETER ?   HELLO FRIENDS.   Potentiometer or Variable Resistance or Preset It is a three legged electronic component which can be made to offer varying resistance in circuit.   It is a resistance with a knob to increase or decrease the resistance. When the spindle is rotated to a direction it will increase the resistance and when it rotated to another direction the resistance decreases. Use only two pins - middle pin and one pin from either side for circuit making.   These are miniature versions of the standard variable resistor. They are designed to be mounted directly onto the circuit board and adjusted only when the circuit is built.   There are three terminal in which middle terminal is called wiper, and it is also used signaling purpose.   IMPORTANT:- When it is connected in a circuit, for ex:- if first and middle are connected as shown in fig, then, if we rotate it in clockwise direction, the resistance incre...

WHAT IS CAPACITOR?   ANSWER THIS QUESTION. What is different between battery & capacitor ?   HELLO FRIENDS.   A capacitor ( originally known as condenser ) is a passive two-terminal electrical component used to store energy in an electric field.   Electrolytic Capacitor When there is a potential difference (voltage) across the conductors, a static electric field develops across the dielectric, causing positive charge to collect on one plate and negative charge on the other plate.   In simple words it stores electricity and is polar in nature (means positive terminal of this capacitor should be connected to the positive of battery and negative to negative) Capacitance is measured in farads (F) and a voltage is written on capacitors which tell the maximum voltage this capacitor can handle. If you see in the figure shown below, The capacitor is of 47 μf and can handle a voltage of 400 v.             ...

HOW TO CALCULATE RESISTOR FOR LED? | FROM WHICH SEMICONDUCTOR MATERIAL LED IS MADE?   HELLO FRIENDS.   The chart of color of LED & material used is given below:-   The color of LED maters in calculation of resistance of LED.   A reference table is given below for different color LEDs.   This table is used for the calculation of resistance for LED, but different manufacturers make LEDs, so the voltage rating is also different. To know voltage of a LED there are two ways:- ·        DATASHEET ·        MULTIMETER   But sometimes datasheets are not easy to find, of different manufacturers. So best way to find voltage is multimeter.   HOW TO FIND VOLTAGE WITH THE HELP OF MULTIMETER?   To find voltage through multimeter:- ·        First make a small circuit in which, you will need a battery, a resister & the LED whic...

WHAT IS LED?   ANSWER THIS QUESTION. From which semiconductor LED is made?   HELLO FRIENDS.   A   LED is a semiconductor light source . It is same as a diode.     As name suggests LED is light emitting diode. It passes current only when connected in right direction (positive of diode to positive of battery and negative to negative) and do not pass any current when connected in opposite direction, with only difference that when it passes current it also emits light with it .   Construction:- The LED consist of a chip of semiconductor material doped with impurities to create a P N  junction. The chips are mounted in a reflecting tray order to increase the light output. The contacts are made on the cathode side by means of conductive adhesive and on the anode side via gold wire to the lead frame. The plastic case encloses the chip area of the lead frame.                ...

what is resistor?

What is resistor?   HELLO FRIENDS.   Resistor is a two terminal passive component which resists the current. For eg:-   A river is flowing on his path and a stone is placed in the way of river. Stone works as resistor.   CONSTRUCTION:- The terminal of resistor is made of aluminium, and the semiconductor is made of carbon or metal or metal oxide.   CALCULATION:- A resistor is calculated in two main ways. ·        Multimeter ·        Color code scheme   For Color code chart click here:- https://tech-beck.blogspot.com/2020/07/what-is-resistor-how-to-calculate.html   ·        Mltimeter method is simple, just attach to probe on two side and set multimeter on resistance Ω. ·          In color code is also quite simple, just see the chart or watch the video. Each color represent a number. For eg...

WHAT IS RESISTOR? HOW TO CALCULATE RESISTOR?   ANSWER THIS QUESTION. How much resistance does human body have? ·        10MΩ(MEGAΩ). ·        1MΩ. ·        1KΩ(KILOΩ).   All about resistor.   All the answer you will get here.   HELLO FRIENDS.   As name suggest it resists direct current in the circuit.   A resistor is a passive two-terminal electrical component, which is made of semi-conductive materials. Resistor oppose the flow of current in a closed circuit.   The greater the resistance the smaller the current will be flow.   For example:- A resistance attached to a LED will dimmer the light of LED.   Resistances have a color coding scheme, you can calculate the value of it by just looking at color bands , this is because resistor are small and numbers can’t be printed on them directly. As shown in fig1...

What is Current, voltage & power?

Image
WHAT IS CURRENT?   WHAT IS VOLTAGE?   WHAT IS POWER? All the answer you will get here.   HELLO FRIENDS. ANSWER THIS QUESTION. Due to which of this element we get electric shock? ·        CURRENT ·        VOLTAGE ·        POWER Are you all thinking what is these, So here is the simple answer.   Current is just the flow of electron , which need a conductive medium or we can say a wire to pass from one point to another For example:- Current is Water which need a pipe to flow.   Voltage is a potential difference or we can say electric force or electric tension applied on current, so current can flow. For example:- Voltage is force needed to supply water everywhere from water tank. Power is   the rate, per unit time, or one watt is equal to joule per second.   The sum of voltage and current. Voltage multiplied by Current. For exampl...
