WHAT IS LED?

 

ANSWER THIS QUESTION.

From which semiconductor LED is made?

 

HELLO FRIENDS.

 

A  LED is a semiconductor light source. It is same as a diode.

 

 

As name suggests LED is light emitting diode.

It passes current only when connected in right direction (positive of diode to positive of battery and negative to negative) and do not pass any current when connected in opposite direction, with only difference that when it passes current it also emits light with it.

 

Construction:-

The LED consist of a chip of semiconductor material doped with impurities to create a P N  junction.


The chips are mounted in a reflecting tray order to increase the light output.

The contacts are made on the cathode side by means of conductive adhesive and on the anode side via gold wire to the lead frame.

The plastic case encloses the chip area of the lead frame.

  What is RGB LED? | how it works?   HELLO FRIENDS.   RGB LED   An RGB LED, as name suggests is a special LED which is capable of producing all colors by mixing Red, Green and Blue colors . In simple words It consists of 3 LEDs (Red, Green, Blue) together in a package and by variation of these 3 colors more colors can be formed.   An RGB LED is having 4 pins, one of which is a common anode and other 3 pins are for Red, Green and Blue respectively. HELLO FRIENDS.   Reed Switch   The reed switch is an electrical switch operated by an applied magnetic field .   CONSTRUCTION:- It consists of a pair of ferromagnetic contacts on iron metal reeds in a sealed glass envelope.
